More Preparations

Selene sat down on the grass with her laptop and began to search for a good DJ for the Winter Ball but finally decided to go with Midnight Moon's DJ. Along with that, she began to advertise the selling of tickets. She also began to pull a few of her own strings for getting the Cathedral with much success.

Sara was walking across the lawn talking on her cell phone. "Look dad, I don't care what you think. This is what I am going to do and you can't stop me. This is my choice and I wish you would support me." She said before hanging up the phone. She looked up and saw Selene. "Hey, how is the planning going?"

He was walking outside and saw both Sara and Selene He waved "Hey Girls" He smiled and walked to them

Selene looked up at Sara. "Everything is working perfectly. I have a DJ and I have the place for the Ball," she said and then smiled at Helios. "Hey, boy."

His smile faded as he got close to them "Dont call me boy"

She giggled. "I was only playing around," she said as she stood and hugged while giving him a kiss on the cheek. "Plus, you called us girls."

He smiled and hugged back "Well i did deserve that i guess"

"You bet you did," she laughed. "So do you want to hang out at the beach with me again? I'm finished with everything I need to do for the Ball."

He remembered what happened the last time they were at the beach "Umm"

"That sounds great." Sara said with a smile. "Hey Helios." Sara was glad that she was a good actress and could hide her sour mood her father's lecture had given her.

She gave him a puppy pout. "Please, didn't you have fun?" she asked.

He looked at Sara "Is there something wrong Sara?" He looked back at Selene "Ill thinkk about it"

Selene sighed. "Okay, and I promise that we will not have to go shopping again," she said before grabbing up her laptop.

"No, it's fine, just having issues with my parents."

He looked at her "Well Ok then, Are you sure?"

Selene touched Helios's shoulder before walking off. "Hey, meet me in the lounge if you decide to go to the beach with me in half an hour," she said and left.

She smiled at him. "Yeah."

He looked at Selene and nodded to her and looked back at Sara

"Father doesn't approve of my ideas to donate some of my money allowances." She said sitting on the ground. She had wanted to wait until Selene was gone before telling him about it.

He sat next to her "Please tell me"

"He says that he gives me the money so that I can use it to live comfortably and that it wasn't intended to be given away like candy."

"Hmmmm" he thinks

"What have you got up your sleeve?"

"Its just a thought"

"Do tell."
